Join us on an exciting new weekend retreat that combines Eurasian fusion cooking classes with photography and yoga. Such an itinerary, set in breath-taking mountain surroundings, is sure to inspire healthy creativity.
The real ethos of Cook&Camera is a passion for exploring international flavours of food and culture. We take you to some of the most beautiful locations on the planet, and organise experiences that allow us to capture the true essence of our environment.
Our first destination is high up in the Alps of Switzerland, where we’ll stay in beautifully renovated authentic barns with spectacular views of the enveloping valleys from our perch at 1450m. With invigorating walks literally on our doorstep, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the mountain air and the colours of the seasons.
On the first day, after your morning yoga, you will be learning camera and photography skills from international magazine-contributor Tim Burgess. On the following day, after a morning session of yoga and relaxation you will be ready for the afternoon’s cooking class. Julienne Loppacher, of Swiss- Indonesian heritage, leads an intimate but dynamic session. Our photographer will then help you capture your creations before it’s time to sit down and enjoy your meal with a glass of local wine.
Cook&Camera’s Swiss retreat will re-ignite your passions for cooking healthy food and capturing memorable images. You’ll leave us feeling physically and mentally refreshed, yet with a stimulating buzz of what lies ahead.
